Like many of the youth in Wedgewood, Bakari once had no safe place to play, no mentors to guide him, and no vision for a future beyond the violence and struggles of the Hilltop. But thanks to MY Project USA, he found a safe space to nurture his passions and dream beyond what he ever thought was possible. Today, Bakari is not only a valued member of our youth programs team, but he's also an aspiring photographer, building a brighter future.
