"Narratives of Resilience" to Showcase The Excellence of Refugee & Immigrant Youth!

Last TWO DAYS to Get Early Bird Tickets

Sponsors Will Boost Their Business Among Socially Responsible Entities

The "Narratives of Resilience" 10th Anniversary Gala & Award Ceremony is next level to the 2023 annual banquet!!! If you were with us last year, you know what I am talking about. If you never came, you don't want to miss out anymore.

This year, we are celebrating a decade of Service, Growth, and Excellence in protecting our youth and families.

Expect inspiring stories, superb speakers, delicious food, live Dabke dance, spoken words, auction and networking with social justice activists, community leaders, elected officials and young champions and advocates representing the cream of New American community in Central Ohio.

The proceeds of this event will help us keep producing resilient, compassionate and caring youth leaders, empowering the most underserved, impoverished families and transforming the most vulnerable neighborhoods. We deliver tangible outcomes!

Come, celebrate with us! We are thrilled to feature the Honorable Rev. Dr. Tim Ahrens of First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, as our keynote speaker along with Elizabeth Brown, CEO & President of YWCA, Shannon Isom, President & CEO of Community Shelter Board, and Dr. Ronney Abaza, Chairman of Noor Islamic Cultural Center as our featured speakers for this special evening.

If you are a business owner, check out sponsorship options. If you are an individual, book your family table now.

This fundraiser will help us continue protecting and empowering more children and families in Central Ohio.

In Solidarity with Youth & Families,

Zerqa Abid

Founder, President and Executive Director

Big Table At MY Project USA Focused On Collaborative Efforts To Empower Youth

Shout Out To The Columbus Foundation For The City Wide Initiative

We had a blast at our Big Table At MY Project last week with an excellent turn out of several members from our partner agencies including: Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Franklin County Children Services, Franklin County Auditor's Office, Columbus Police Department, and Overcomers On the Move. We focused our conversation Protecting & Empowering our Youth Together!

Support Our Hot Meals Program for Kids in Need!

Help us sustain our Hot Meals Program, dedicated to providing free, nourishing hot meals to every child in our youth programs. Many underprivileged kids lack access to healthy, consistent nutrition and depend on school meals for their daily sustenance. Unfortunately, one or two meals a day is often insufficient for their growing bodies and minds.

Education is essential, but it cannot stand alone. Food is a vital component of healthy development and academic success. Your generous donation can make a tangible difference in the lives of these children, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need to thrive.

Join us in our mission to create a healthier future. With your help, we can continue to fight hunger and empower our youth. Donate today—every contribution counts!

MY Deah's Warehouse:

12 Locations In Columbus To Drop Off Donations – Truck Pick-Up Available For Large Donations

We Are Looking For More Locations

You can now drop off your donations of new and gently used clothes, shoes, books, toys and other small non-breakable items in a donation box near you.

We will collect the items from the bins weekly (or more frequently as needed) and sort them in our warehouse. Once organized, we offer the items for free to clients in the communities we serve. Some items are also sold at Global Gifts & Thrift, a retail location in Hilliard that is based on the Goodwill model. All proceeds of these sales go toward funding our programs.

Our organization will ensure that the area around the bins remains clean. Please contact Nasir Shinwari at (614) 905-0977 with questions or if you are interested in partnering with us. Thank you!
