Thank you to WSYX ABC 6 and Steve Levine for their coverage on our organization and our immediate need for funding. For more than a year we have run the MY Family Pantry and MY Deah’s Warehouse without any grants or substantial donations and we can’t do it anymore. These programs serve the most needy people in our community. We serve about 10,000 people per month.

Unfortunately, we are in a cash crunch and must raise enough money or cut our pantry and warehouse if we don’t raise $215K in the next few weeks. We are incredibly grateful to all those who have donated already! Thanks to you, we have been able to keep our programs going for a little while longer. We need your help to keep the momentum going.

41 Youth Leaders Received Awards This Saturday

$85K Raised For This Year and $300K Raised in Recurring Donations Over Next 3 Years!

This Saturday, MY Project USA held its 10th Anniversary Gala: Narratives of Resilience. We are humbled and blessed to report that we were able to raise $85K in immediate donations for this year, and $300K in total (recurring) donations over the next 3 years. This is a great start! We are still in immediate need of $215K to keep programs running this year, but we are energized and uplifted after the amazing turnout from our community on Saturday! A very special thanks to our speakers, the Rev. Dr. Tim Ahrens, Shannon Isom, and Dr. Ronney Abaza for their time, passion, commitment, and for sharing with the audience what we know to be true: MY Project USA is here to serve all of us, and we must all work together to keep it going. Shout out to our event sponsors: Columbus Technology Solutions, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Dahlia Occasions, Outeredge-ucation, and Koti Bodipuddi of RedOne Realty for helping make this possible. And finally, a HUGE congratulations to all of our 2024 award winners!! You are the very best of us, and we are PROUD to honor you! All of our awardees are featured on our website. MY Project USA Youth Leaders at City Council

On Monday, youth leaders from MY Project USA had the opportunity to attend and speak at the Columbus City Council Meeting, where they passionately advocated for the organization and its mission to protect and uplift youth from gun violence, drugs, and other harmful influences. Their clear, powerful voices and dedication to making a difference were truly inspiring. We are incredibly proud to have such strong youth leaders representing us and paving the way for a brighter, safer future.

MY Deah's Warehouse:

12 Locations In Columbus To Drop Off Donations – Truck Pick-Up Available For Large Donations

We Are Looking For More Locations

You can now drop off your donations of new and gently used clothes, shoes, books, toys and other small non-breakable items in a donation box near you.

We will collect the items from the bins weekly (or more frequently as needed) and sort them in our warehouse. Once organized, we offer the items for free to clients in the communities we serve. Some items are also sold at Global Gifts & Thrift, a retail location in Hilliard that is based on the Goodwill model. All proceeds of these sales go toward funding our programs.

Our organization will ensure that the area around the bins remains clean. Please contact Nasir Shinwari at (614) 905-0977 with questions or if you are interested in partnering with us. Thank you!
