How Do You Grow a Future?

You Plant Seeds of Hope Today and Invite Others To Join You!

Dear Family,

I want to start by celebrating you, our amazing donors. Your generosity is not only heartfelt, it's incredibly smart. By supporting MY Project USA, you've created a legacy that empowers children and strengthens entire communities.

Because of you, children in Wedgewood and South Park are spending their summer in safe, vibrant spaces where they can learn, play, and grow. They’re discovering new ideas, building confidence, and making joyful memories that will shape their future. Because of you we could have a Hilltop Soccer Summer League this year. Because of you our pantry is still serving four days a week and more.

This is how you’ve grown your legacy of $7 million a year, and how we’re growing the future together.

Now, we invite you to spread the legacy. Share your “why” with your friends, family, coworkers, and employers. Encourage them to be part of something meaningful.

Here’s how others can join your legacy of giving:

Corporate or Government Employee?
Encourage your workplace to support us through matching gifts, sponsorships, or CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funding. Many companies are looking for local partners to uplift community youth. You can be that bridge.

Know someone with a generous heart?

Invite your family and friends to:

Give $6K for $6K to match the yearly income of the families we serve. A $6,000 annual gift helps fuel nearly $7 million in impact across our programs.

Become a Monthly Donor From $5 to $1,000 each month, our monthly supporters now cover essentials like rent and utilities. Together, they’re creating a legacy worth over $585,000 each month.

Share your story.
Tell others why you give. Your voice can inspire a neighbor, a colleague, or an entire team to make a difference.

Your giving has already planted seeds of hope. Together, we can grow a stronger, brighter future for even more children.

Now is the time to act.
Your call to action today creates safe spaces and lasting change for children who need us most.

Let’s grow the future, together.

With gratitude,
Zerqa Abid

In The News: Central Ohio organization on edge after “big, beautiful bill” passes

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A central Ohio organization is worried President Donald Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” will lead to cuts in the services it provides.

MY Project USA is the largest Muslim social services organization in Ohio, and its leader said the law will have major impacts on the community services they provide.

Thank you to NBC4's Brent Mills for coming out and providing coverage on this important issue that is impacting our organization in a huge way. Now, more than ever, we are relying on our amazing community of supporters and volunteers to band together and help us get through this stressful time of uncertainty. Together, we can make sure our community continues to be taken care of and our children continue to thrive.

Hilltop Youth Soccer Awards – July 29 & 30

As our summer season wraps up, join us for the Hilltop Youth Soccer Summer League Awards Ceremonies right after the final games on July 29 and 30.

Come celebrate the dedication, growth, and sportsmanship of our incredible players. All families, friends, and community members are welcome!

Thank you for supporting Hilltop Youth Soccer and MY Project USA. See you there!

** Special thanks to all of our summer league sponsors for their support! This year’s summer league was made possible by partial funding from the State of Ohio, and the support of our amazing sponsors: Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill, Don Tequila Mexican Grill, El Barco Mexican Restaurant, 3 Amigos Mexican Grill, Outeredge Education, and Deal Blessings! **

Building Recovery, Resilience, and Dreams with Kim Flynn!

Last week, our MY Leaders youth had the honor of learning from Kim Flynn of Overcomers on the Move during a powerful Recovery Capital session. With grace and vulnerability, Kim shared her story and wisdom, offering our youth a real-life example of strength, growth, and transformation.

During the session, our youth reflected on their own journeys by writing out their dreams and imagining what it would be like to walk in their shoes. This activity opened the door to deeper self-awareness and connection - a step forward in becoming the leaders and change makers we know they are meant to be.

Every session like this brings our youth closer to becoming the builders of a stronger, more united community.

To keep these vital programs going, we ask for your support. Your donation helps us provide safe, empowering spaces where youth can learn, grow, and lead. Donate today to invest in their future!
