Summer Meal Funds Have Depleted $15,000 Needed To Continue Meals For The Rest Of The Summer MY Project USA provides more than 100 meals per day to students participating in our youth programs. For many students, these are the only healthy meals they eat. We know that food security is vital for protecting youth, because hungry kids are easy prey. At this point in time, we have run out of funds. Please help us continue providing these kids healthy, hot halal meals by donating to our summer meals program. Every dollar helps! |

Westhaven Family Cookout Success! MY Project USA and Westhaven Apartments Engage Families in Community Event! MY Project USA and Westhaven Apartments partnered up to host our first joint event on Saturday, July 20th! It was a day filled with great food, tons of games, activities and lots of community engagement! We shared information about our services with residents, many of which they are already benefitting from, such as our summer youth programs. We were joined by two members of Westhaven management who made the trip from out of town to help with the event and show their support and dedication to the safety and protection of all residents, especially children. We had an open conversation about keeping the complex clean and free of vandalism and violence and reiterated our dedication to uplifting and empowering all members of our community! Our youth leaders from MY Leaders Lab served as volunteers and gained hands-on experience in planning and executing a community event. We are thankful to Westhaven apartments for giving us the opportunity to serve their residents and look forward to many more future collaborations! |

MY Summer Expedition Learns to Code! Students Learn to Program Ozobots and Bionic Hands! Students had an amazing week engaging in STEM activities during week 1 of Tech camp! Elementary school students learned how to code ozobots and built their own storylines while coding commands to create pathways for their ozobots to travel through. Middle school students learned how to program bionic hands and coded them to play rock paper scissors! Students had to plan their moves 3 rounds at a time, teaching them critical learning and planning skills as well. Read the newsletters for more about this fantastic week! |

MY Deah's Warehouse: 12 Locations In Columbus To Drop Off Donations – Truck Pick-Up Available For Large Donations We Are Looking For More Locations You can now drop off your donations of new and gently used clothes, shoes, books, toys and other small non-breakable items in a donation box near you. We will collect the items from the bins weekly (or more frequently as needed) and sort them in our warehouse. Once organized, we offer the items for free to clients in the communities we serve. Some items are also sold at Global Gifts & Thrift, a retail location in Hilliard that is based on the Goodwill model. All proceeds of these sales go toward funding our programs. Our organization will ensure that the area around the bins remains clean. Please contact Nasir Shinwari at (614) 905-0977 with questions or if you are interested in partnering with us. Thank you! |
