Cheering on the Hilltop Tigers 🐯

MY Leaders Show Their Support!

Our MY Leaders were out in full force, showing their incredible support for the Hilltop Tigers at their recent soccer game! With homemade signs in hand and loud cheers, they rallied behind the team, proving just how powerful it is to show up for each other in every endeavor. At MY Project USA, we believe in building strong, supportive communities where everyone has each other’s back, and that’s exactly what our youth leaders are doing. By raising a generation that values friendship, encouragement, and perseverance, we’re creating bonds that last a lifetime. We couldn’t be prouder of the Hilltop Tigers for their hard work and determination on the field. Keep shining, Tigers! ⚽️ 🙌

Creative Sparks Fly at Binn's Recharge Art Day

Heart Collages, Abstract Portraits, and More!

The Binn's Recharge elementary after-school program has been working on amazing art projects with Ms. Karen Woods that have the students buzzing with creativity! Through fun and engaging activities, students are learning new art techniques while releasing energy and boosting their imagination. They worked on their heart collages inspired by artist Jim Dine, using plastic transparencies and markers to make vibrant prints, and added bold hearts and shading. The students also dove into "I Am" portraits, creating colorful abstract backgrounds with watercolor and sharing fun facts about themselves, sparking new connections and plenty of laughs. They even got to channel the energy of contemporary artist Sandra Silberzweig, designing bright, bold abstract portraits in her signature style.

Students not only develop creative skills through art, but also learn to express themselves, appreciate others' work, and persevere through frustrations or mistakes. This incredible program fosters important skills in a positive, supportive environment where students can grow, connect, and form lasting friendships!

MY Project USA's Field Trip to the Orton Geological Museum!

MY Project USA had an exciting field trip to the Orton Geological Museum at Ohio State University with students in the Starling Reach elementary after-school program! Students kicked off the day with a fun SEL activity, sharing highlights and practicing gratitude. At the museum, they toured exhibits filled with prehistoric creatures—dinosaurs, giant sloths, and more—plus unique minerals like space rocks! Students got a glimpse into geology and paleontology careers, explored the museum freely, and even earned “Reach dollars” for sharing cool facts. On the way home, they discussed their favorite discoveries, and also got to experience the vibrant energy of OSU’s campus. It was a wonderful day of learning, exploration, and inspiration!

Reminder: Help Us Keep Our Community Warm and Fed This Winter!

We’re still seeking donations to support our 230 winter warming center guests through this HISTORICALLY COLD winter. We’re accepting cooked meals, catering funds, and dry foods for our brunch bags, which include essential items to help keep everyone nourished and comfortable during these harsh months.

Your generosity can make a real difference in ensuring no one goes cold or hungry. Every donation counts—whether it’s a hot meal, a contribution toward catering, or food for our bags. Let’s come together to support our neighbors and make sure everyone has the warmth and sustenance they need this winter!

Join Our Community!

In just 10 years, MY Project USA has made a remarkable impact of $45 million! This achievement is a testament to the strength of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, donors, and staff.
