Every day, MY Project USA’s Warming Center opens its doors to provide shelter, warmth, and most importantly, hope to those who need it most. Through your incredible support, we’ve been able to serve over 160 meals daily to individuals facing homelessness and hardship across multiple locations. But our work is far from done, and we need your help to continue making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable in our community.

How You Can Help:

1. Meal Donations: If you or your organization can provide a meal for our warming center guests, your generosity will not only feed those in need but will remind them they are not forgotten. Each meal you donate is an act of kindness that can change someone's day, and their life, for the better.

2. Monetary Donations for Catering: Not able to prepare meals yourself? No problem. You can still make a powerful impact by donating funds to MY Community Cafe, which is catering meals every day for those at our warming centers. Your contribution ensures that each guest receives the nourishment they deserve.

3. Snack Bags from Our Amazon Wishlist: For those who want to help in a simple but meaningful way, we’ve created a special Amazon Wishlist for snack bag items. These snack bags provide essential sustenance throughout the day, especially for guests who may not have access to meals at certain times. By purchasing and sending items directly from the list, you can help ensure our guests have snacks to keep them going while they navigate these difficult times.

Fun Friday: Open Mic Night With Prometheus Wade! 

Join us for open Mic Night TONIGHT with Prometheus Wade AKA Peniel Cromwell!! Prometheus Wade, is a proud resident of the West side and is someone who channels creativity and optimism to uplift youth all over Columbus. His unique ability to break down the art of rap, spoken word and poetry allows young people to explore their creative side in a fun, judgment-free environment. Come share a piece of your own poetry with our community or support our future poets, musicians, and performers!

MY Leaders at Ubuntu Conversation Series: Unity Across Cultures

Our MY Leaders youth had the incredible opportunity to attend the Columbus Department of Neighborhood’s Ubuntu Conversation Series: Unity Conversations Across Cultures, which focused on Shared Experiences and Opportunities. It is vital for our youth to be exposed to different cultures, learn from diverse perspectives, and feel confident in their identities as Americans while also honoring and celebrating their own cultural backgrounds.

We are grateful to the Department of Neighborhoods for hosting this important series, which creates space for meaningful dialogue and connection. It was truly inspiring for our youth to hear from so many influential community leaders and elected officials. This experience will undoubtedly help shape them into stronger, more empathetic leaders in our community. Thank you for your continued efforts in fostering unity and understanding!
